The Products window

Before working on your various products list, make sure you have completed the options in Customise your company If you have not yet set up these options, open Help > Customise your company.

You can access all of the options related to Products from this window. The table below explains what each option is for.

New Product

Use this option to go through a wizard to create your product records. Find out more

Product Record

You can use this option to create your product records or to view your existing product record details. Find out more

Buy/Sell Items

Use this option to create an order, invoice or quote from the product records you select in the Products window. Find out more

Price Lists

Accounts Plus and Professional only

You can use this option to create specific prices for your products for a group of customers or for individual customers. You can also set up supplier price lists if certain suppliers sell you the products at a different price. Find out more

Activity

Select this option to view the activity within a product record. Find out more

Shortfall

Accounts Plus and Professional only

Use this option to see which products quantity in stock level is below the re-order level. You can also create a purchase order for the quantity you require. Find out more

Adjustment In

You can use this option to increase your quantity in stock. Find out more

Adjustment Out

You can use this option to decrease your quantity in stock. Find out more

Stock Take

Use this option to record your stock take to help you ensure your stock levels are accurate. Find out more

Check Bill Of Materials

Accounts Plus and Professional only

If you have a bill of materials (BOM) on a product record you can use this option to check if you have enough in stock in the components to create the main product. Find out more

Returns

Accounts Plus and Professional only

Use this option to record damaged or faulty goods that have been returned to your company or that you are returning to your supplier. Find out more

Allocations

Accounts Plus and Professional only

Use this option to allocate your stock to an order or project so it can't be used elsewhere. Find out more

Labels

Accounts Plus and Professional only

You can use this option to print labels including bar codes to use on your products. Find out more

Reports

Access all of your product reports from here. Find out more
